They lost 28 - 8. Didn't see the game but Justin said on the radio that Rhys got through the game fine and should be in line to play in France next weekend. |

On the face of it that seems a pretty poor result. |

Why? Wigan Reserves have won 14 out of 14 games this season and haven't lost for almost 12 months. |

Rhys made a brilliant 50 metre run, just bounced off players. Wigan just outclassed our reserves and their defence was outstanding. |

I posted a few weeks ago that Wigans academy were the best i had seen this season by a distance. After seeing their reserves the same applies for them aswell. If Nobles succesor in the autumn is prepared to put trust in some of those lads then, in my opinion, they could be on the brink of something pretty special. As far as Rovers reserves are concerned, Makali was poor, Mills was worse but Lovegrove made a pretty impressive comeback from a serious injury. Would expect him to feature for the first team next week. |

I went down early to watch it and they out played us, simple as... but they are the best Reserve side in the comp! Anyone know any news of the Rovers lad that got injured - looked very serious at the time? |

The comp this season is very poor and Rovers had 3 first team props playing and 5 other full timers in the team, that why is stated it was a pretty poor result on the face of it. |

Wigans reserves have got a winning habit that we could only dream the first team could have! They've faced teams with plenty of first team experienced heads in and beat them all. We've got about 5 lads in that side that if they were at most other superleague clubs and not at Wigan under Noble they'd have 20-30 first team games under their belts now. |
