Willowred on the other forum has asked if it's been moved to the Saturday?

Anyone any the wiser?

There has to be at least 4 weeks notice given if a game is to be switched so by my reckoning they only have another couple of days to announce it if true.

I imagine that this will be the one and only time I ever know anything about anything! I here that it's more or less definitely on Sky and as the slots for that weekend are Friday @8pm and Saturday @6pm the Saturday slot looks the most likely.

I certainly won't be going for a drinkypoo's around town that Saturday if this is the case, crazy idea.

I understand City play away at Sheff too that day from what I have read, just in time for their idiot element to join the element both our teams have for a drunken free for all up town.

Thought the derby games had to kick off around lunch time due to the idiots who like a fight???

Hope I'm wrong though as I'm away for this game so would be happy to watch it in a pub

Be a stupid idea for me, if true will really make me think twice on taking the bairn which is wrong.

Police won't want it, Sky may well do......who has the power?

Totally agree, without provoking a "whose got the bigger muppet element of fans debate" (we all know in our heart of hearts it's you lot  ) this seems a crazy idea.

I just hope we've got a large surplus in our security budget.

I only read the other week after the fiasco with the Quins game in France being switched...

Quote:"Sky Sports has the right, under its contract with the RFL, to choose any game it wants to broadcast on TV," he said.
"The contract states it must give four weeks' notice to the RFL and the clubs on which fixtures it wants to broadcast.
