Firstly I would like to thank GML for allowing this thread. Im an employer consultant for Goodwin Development Trust in the city, trying to improve the working lives of local people. We can offer 3 different services, all of which are FREE. 1 - Help for people currently on JSA to find employment, either with Goodwin or with a database of clients through the Local Work Guarantee Scheme. We can offer 13 weeks of guaranteed employment, with an 80% success rate of getting a secondment with an external employer. 2 - Support for exisitng small to medium business owners. We can offer FREE advice with regards anything that you are struggling with, whether it be staffing (we can offer employees whereby we will pay the wage or offer subsidised wages) policy writing, property maintenence etc. 3 - We also offer support to people who are looking to start their own business but are unable to put their plans into practice. We can provide workshops, business plan writing and a list of contacts that will help you undetake the transition into becoming self employed.
