........ who would be your player of the year?

(i know its only halfway point, but interesting to see, as i bet theres a fair few players invloved when normally its quite clear cut)

Galea? Newton? Fox? Dobson? Welham? etc...

Briscoe, just shading Galea and Dobbo.

1. Briscoe
2. Dobson
3. Welham

(If I had to pick the top three up to now.)
My reasons;

1. Briscoe:
Safe as houses under high balls, get's out of trouble by ducking and diving past tackles. A passionate player who's heart is in his socks when he runs.

2. Dobson:
Leads us around the park excellently in most cases. He has a fantastic kicking game most of the time, he is a great goal-kicker. His passes are brilliant a lot of the time setting up great attacking positions.

3. Welham:
A young star. He is always ready and hungry for tries just what Rovers need and need to keep (thank god we have.) We need young blood who are passionate about the club and Welham is.

Benny Galea, just an all round pro and would be lost without him IMO.

No argument with any of those but would put Scott Murell in the mix, 60 tackles in the cup game was awsome
