It was Webbo that told the board the pitch needed doing so they could train on a good surface too. |

Webbo will always be a legend at Rovers, in four years we have become the number one RL team in the city, we did it on our own, through hard work and determination, with a great coach, great board and brilliant loyal fans.We never had to merge and sell our identity. Certain clubs said we would never make superleague and when we did we would go straight back down , but we never ,we hammered our merged neighbours 6-42 to secure our superleague status, saw them empty Hull Citys stadium , shortly after half time, and since then our fantastic board ( made up of fans and ex players) has done us proud, great signings , not afraid to spend cash on decent players , great fans , we are without doubt the top team in rugby league in the city of Hull HULL KINGSTON ROVERS |
