Great to see Hudge in the East Stand tonight before the match , talking to the fans , mingling with us all, great of him to take time out to remember his roots .

Its great to have a board that mix with the fans , i think that is a real strong point at Rovers , ex players and supporters on the board that are passionate about the club and and have a great rapport with the fans.

Rovers has always been more of a family run club, at times that has caused us problems as our "keep it in the family" approach has meant we didn't bring the best people in for the job but we now seem to have a great balance between business and passion.

Good times indeed and well done Neil for getting us here.

Not just before the match, he was certainly in there for the full first half. Wonder why?

Mixing and talking to the fans, don't all chairpersons do this ?

Only if they get it to happen where they are in complete control and if they get to script and practice the encounter first.

But we need to get this small club mentality out of our heads, tried to ring the box office twice yesterday to order some tickets but got put straight through to an answer machine.

Isn't it an automated service rather than an answer machine. I rang yesterday about some photos I'd left for signing, just listened to all the options till I heard the one I required and pressed the button. I would say we have moved on in this department, although it was nice when you knew all the office staff by name and could just ring and ask for them

Apologies if this isn't what happened to you.
