and to be quite honest with these 8 players absent i thought that the bit part players did quite well, also bear in mind that our stand out player(ben galea) of the last couple of games did not come off the bench until midway in the second half.....so all in all it was job done

How can you say we let the players down? We paid good money to see them play rugby.... and they expected to to turn up and just win. If anything the players let the fans down by not producing good rugby - they get paid to play, we pay to watch.

Rovers virtually put out their strongest AVAILABLE side and were ran close by a very spirited, but ultimately limited Sheffield side. I'm not gonna excuse what was a poor performance. The attitude (Stan aside) was poor throughout the team and thats why they nearly got embarrassed. I'm sure it will provide a kick up the jacksy in time for Friday.

Mariano I'm all for cutting our guys some slack when it's merited, but in this case it's not. Hopefully it will give us a kick up the pants to improve drastically against Wigan. We'll need to.
