Remember watching the Huddersfield Giants just after he took over and thinking on how he got his players running at their own players still in the Rovers line - shepherding if you will.

Murreyfield brought that memory back again... same old same old 8)

Seemed a little stressed at the interview to.... Think Justin's got the upper hand

Not my favourite bloke as I don;t think he came out of the WC with any credit.

To be fair to TS I thought he was pretty magnanimus in defeat, creditted us and didn't dwell on his injuries, he seemed to struggling to hear the interviewer and as such made himself look uncomfortable. He's certainly got wire playing a hell of a lot better in the last couple of weeks and deserves credit for it. Lets face it he saw a weakness on our RHS side that not many coaches have pin pointed this year.

I agree he was generous in defeat... just pointing out the issues re sheparding issues... which I think is rather underhand... must worse than the laying on attributed to Huddersfield. Millward at Leigh used simular techniques, however at Saints he didn't need to employ!

Are you referring to the kick off for the second half where Westwood and Mitchell collided?

No- quiet a few incidents where the attacker runs at one of his own still in the defensive line to try and gain adavntage... I remember Leigh getting away with it against us!

that is nothing new for any team running at there own players or running at the ref it seems as the refs dont pick it up and there are always holes there so it is good thinking in some respects

Risky tactic tho'. If you get pulled as will happen it's a pen on your own 20(ish). Wouldn't have thought a coach would willingly risk this.
