Where does everyone think Rovers need to improve to maintain our progression. Off the field we were voted club of the year in 08, and its quite clear that on the pitch we have made great strides, but what positions or players do we need to improve on, to get up to the consistancy of teams like Saints, and where do we need to be going off the field, Contruction? Marketing? Sponsors?I ask because as others have found to their peril, you can't rest on your laurels |

It was great to see six youngsters given their shirts on the pitch on sunday and lets hope more and more recognise our club as the one to sign for in this city. |

1. Producing our own players, but I'm moderately confident about that. 2. I'm happy with the squad, but it is maybe a bit prop heavy now. Another hooker would be good, especially if he could cover SH as well. The sort of role Drew or Obst do, though not necessarily those particular players. No criticism of Fisher or Dobson there - just it'd be nice to have some more depth there. 3. The stadium is the big one, IMO. If Cas, Wakefield, Saints and Salford all get their shiny new stadiums built and we don't get the new North stand, that will do us no favours at all. |

I am sure the board are aware that the RFL will definately be bringing in a 'new' club in 2012 and that it is more than likely to be at the expense of a club already in SL, hopefully it will not be solely down to the ground, but we will have to show some improvement in this area very soon. |

I think everyone is aware of the intentions off the field, and I believe once the global finacial crisis has eased, that there will be movement on the stadium front. Hasn't justin already hinted at the future of the hooker position, didn't he say that he saw Scott Murrell in that position in the long term, and with Fitzy's contract due to run out at the end of the year and Ben Fisher extending his deal, I recon the long term issue of the hooker lies with those two. maybe Cookie to 13 and I'anson to 6,(or maybe even Locker to 6:wink: ) |

I personally dont see Murrell as a hooker at all, Im really happy with the way his game is progressing as it is. |

His strength is immense, the way he shoved off the Cats player to set up the first try was great and it took the same strength (and a bit of momentum) to score his. He also tackles like a demon. |

I think moving Scotty from Loose would be a massive mistake. He has developed into a massive player for us as the 3rd pivot. Fisher and a more scooting oriented player works well for Rovers. Anyway IMO Murrell doesn't have the pace for hooker. |
