How good does it feel at the minute supporting Hull kr, from the days watching us at London skolars away infront of 500 people to today sat 2nd in the league playing good expansive rugby and watching a group of players and a coaching staff that are striving to make us the best we possibly can be

4 and a half hours to Whitehaven, collecting my cousin from Barrow along the way.
51-0 caning
5 hours driving back home in a deep, dark pit of despair.

Have to say I'm relatively happy these days.

Not only loyal and proud but very optomistic for the rest of the season. With five first teamers currently sat on the side lines its down to the squad that Justin has built since our promotion to S.L. that we sit second on merit and looking forward to a good cup run.

Our leader promised PROMOTION, SURVIVAL, CONSOLIDITION and CHALLENGING and although the challenge has come a year or two early in most fans thoughts we are definitley up there challenging with the best. This season has seen players understanding each others games more and the gelling together and the best on form pair of half backs in the league at the moment.

Looking through the squad, when fit, its safe to say, not many fans would agree on our strongest seventeen such is the form of the players coming in and replacing those injured. And looking at the respective league positions of both the reserve and academy teams it looks like Rovers are building the foundations throughout the club.
