We were awful. Ref was worse. Lovegrove dislocated shoulder. Fozzard torn bicep. Fox was limping a bit as well but doubt it is any injury. One of the worst performances of the season from Rovers, the game at the KC took a lot out of us. At least we have a week to get back on the ball, and hopefully have Vella back for Quins. |

At 10-8 the game was in the balance but I thought the turning point was Lovegrove's injury which was caused by a Hudds player's "chicken wing" tackle - injuries are part and parcel of the game but this one's caused by illegal tackle technique are not one 
Rovers looked potent in attack but were generally outmuscled in the middle which restricted our field position and we got nothing at all from Thaler. I appreciate refs have a difficult job and the standard of reffering has improved this season, but along Sliverwood, Thaler has proved on multiple occasions he has his agenda - the guy is a low-life. Thaler aside, Hudds deserved their win and I hope we avoid them in the cup. |
