Thought Wheeldon did alright, best hit of the game
Poor performance from both sides, very suspicious try at the end to give Huddersfield the win, can't argue with the loss though, as we gave away the ball to cheaply on three consecutive sets.

Lost 12 - 16, was winning 12 - 10 on the 80 minute mark but Huddersfield scored in the 84th minute. The referee was shocking throughout and disallowed a perfectly good Rovers try claiming a clear 1 on 1 ball steel had 2 men involved. Don't have the full team, but Beaumont, Liam Whelam and Mariano were Rovers' stand outs IMO. Leroy Cudjoe was Hudds best player by far. |

Under new rules that can't be a penalty try,so would have been a penalty at best! |

Did Wheeldon play for long spells? did he shine, if not then maybe it shows hes one player we can rule out of the 17 for friday... |

Hudds were taking the ball out on their own 10 and Mariano stole the ball fairly and crossed the line. The ref pulled him back for a 2 on 1 ball steal, it had nothing to do with a penalty try. |
