Rovers Academy played their first game of the season tonight and won away at Huddersfield 46-0.

It was literally men against boys. Your lot were so much bigger they just ran over the top of them. Shows how much they develop with the training and experience even in 12-18 months.

There are alot of good signs with this and the reserves doing well :lol: Lets hope we start producing quality youngsters that will be the backbone of our club for years to come. Although i hate to say it just like our rivals from over the river i would like to see us with alot of Hull born in our team

The way the rules are, it is essential rather than a choice. The worse case scenario is club's are forced to rush though youngsters potentially harming their prospects and lowering the overall quality of SL.
