Good confidence booster for the lad, lots of improvement left in him.

Nothing against the lad cos I ain't seen a lot of the kid but it just shows how far behind we are at international level if kris is the best we may have in the centres, the Aussies have people like falou, inglis, cooper etc. Good look kris anyway, from a black and White to a black and White at heart.

While it's great for him to be in contention, I have to agree that's a sad reflection on the pool of centres available; he's a young lad who's only just proving him self at SL level never mind international level. I hope if he's picked he proves to every one he's internation class.

If I was a Rovers fan (fortunately I wasn’t dropped on my head at birth  ) I wouldn’t want to see him anyway near the international set up for a while yet. England are a disgrace at the moment both on and off the pitch, let him concentrate on establishing himself in SL and building on his impressive ‘raw’ talent.

Never thought I'd ever say this, but I actually agree with you there.

Perhaps including him and some of the other 'fringe' youngsters in the training squads would be a better option.

Think Shenton has a better chance than anyone for the England 3 shirt.

I wouldn't disagree, he deserves a shot.
