Setanta are cutting their NRL games down to 1 a week instead of the 2 or3 they can show. They advertise a minimum of 2 games a week for subscribers.
They are doing this for the next 2 months. Apparently they explained to a Wigan fan that they were covering extra Magners Rugby Union games.
I have sent a strongly worded email threatening to cancel my subscription if the NRL games are not reinstated. I would like as many as possible to email them and complain, if enough do it could possibly sway things.

Thanks for that. I'm currently off work so was thinking of subscribing, but not just for the one match per week.

I have emailed them and I have just got off the phone with them, someone is calling me back with in 5 working days as they couldn't tell me how many games they are intending to show in the future. I have canceled my direct debit and won't re-start it unless they are showing at least 2 games a week in the future. I have also looked on their site and they are only showing 1 game next week.

Their customer service is all outsourced and majority of them don't have a clue.

This is the best site for televised games. 1 per week for a while

With the large majority of fans, subscribing it for Premier League games, i really dont see them been to bothered as regards to a slight bit of NRL?

Isn't Setanta going down the pan?

Maybe Sky will get NRL games back if that happens?

Think I heard something along those line or someone is buying them out.

I was tempted to get Setanta but not a chance now if this is the case.

The Setanta coverage via the 'freeview' box is a bit rubbish too , with only limited broadcasting time for the subscription fee.
