in the 1st half, both sides were pretty even...neither side made many mistakes, with warrington concentrating on getting the basics right and getting their confidence back. rovers seemed rather flat and gave some stupid penalties away, which helped warrington. saying that, all three of their tries in the 1st half were pretty soft ones to give away. 2nd half rovers started well, and dobson almost put lovegrove in, which could have been a big moment, but instead warrington got some momentum and looked more like the side they should be, as their fans got behind them. by the time rovers got back and started to look dangerous, it was a bit too late. they still had chances, but seemed to be putting themselves under pressure, forcing passes and making mistakes. overall, i think it was a bit of both, but if rovers had been playing the way they have been in recent weeks, from the start, i think the game could have been very different. |

Bit of both to be honest. We made far too many mistakes at crucial times, we didn't look the team we have over the last few weeks. Warrington seemed to have pulled theirselves together and were desperate for that first win. Hopefully it was just a blip for us. |

Hopefully it was just a blip for us. totally agree, with Salford & Celtic before the derby hopefully we can get some confidence back by putting big scores on the board.... |

Hopefully Rovers have gotten that out of their system for the next few games. A showing like that against anyone else yesterday bar Celtic and Salford and we would have been well and truly hammered. (No disrespect to Wire but a team that low on confidence shouldn't be doing it so easily.) |

you shouldn't be writing any team off. |

TBF a result like this has been coming. Everybody has been getting carried away with the Saints result, but for me Rovers have yet to hit their straps this season. Their performances so far have been average at best. Yes they have got some decent results but they got out enthused and bullied on Sunday by a team that wanted it more and that had a little quality where it mattered. |

I agree, although we've picked up some decent points without been at our best. We've peaked early in previous years and faded a bit, so hopefully we'll improve as the season goes on this time. |
