The lad is improving with every single game he plays. He'll be a real assett to us in the future, he reads the game brilliantly and tackles well above his weight. Liam (Welham) also looks like one for the future. From what I have seen of him in friendlies etc. he looks like the standout player of his age. Did both the Welhams play away against Leigh in 2006? I know Kris played and scored but did Liam? |

Yeah they both played in that game IIRC. Kris scored and Liam had one chalked off. |

They are both massive prospects for the future, going back a year or so ago Liam was the better player having gained england rep honours etc, going well in the reserves but still only 20 |

A lot of players would've kicked the ball on and hoped for the best be Kris showed great confidence and strength to gather the ball and get over the line. I'd put Kris up there with the likes of Ryan Hall in terms of young English talent. |
