Celtic Crusaders continue to be without both captain Jace Van Dijk and leading try scorer Tony Duggan for the Super League trip to Hull Kingston Rovers.

Van Dijk (ankle) and Duggan (groin) missed the brave 4-0 defeat at home to St Helens last weekend.

Added to that wing Mark Lennon, who also missed the St Helens clash, is out for eight weeks with a fractured thumb.

On the plus side, former Hull KR winger and Welsh international Luke Dyer will be fit for the trip.

Disappointed with Lennon, would have been nice to see him run out again.

19 Man Squads not out yet, but Fitzy expected to miss out, hopefully Benny Cockayne will take his place.

That's certainly a blow for them he has been really impressive so far, and frequently montioned as one of the players we should fear most on another thread.

Our 19:

Briscoe, Fox, Walker, Welham, Colbon, I'Anson, Dobson, Fozzard, Fitzhenry, Aizue, Wheeldon, Galea, Newton, Murrell, Fisher, Netherton, Lovegrove, Cockayne, Webster.

Cockayne in for Gene is the only change.

Agreed, sounds like Fitzy won't be rushed back, and it'd be very harsh to drop anyone imo.

Agree unless Fitzy is 100% which is unlikely.

Suprised Stans been left out & where's Mills? Thought this would have been a good chance to get them some game time.

I'd be giving Fozzy a rest. We've played the last 3 weeks with only 2 props - don't want him jaded later in the season.

I certainly think our ball control is better with Stan out of the side and with Whelham forcing his way into the centre, the back-row sub spot has been taken by Webster.

Lovegrove has been excellent in terms of meterage and Netherton has done a fine job as always.

Best to keep the same team cos that the only way we will see some real improvement and Celtic will be no push overs.

Sorry mate, can't agree. If you're not going to utilise your squad players at home to Celtic, when are you going to use them?

There'll be a time when we need to call on Stan, Mills, Wheeldon etc & they'll be no good to us if they haven't played any rugby.

You've answered your own question below mate:

They're getting game time in the reserves and will have to wait their turn.

The way I see it keeping the same team is the only way we will see any real improvement otherwise we'll see the same erratic performances we saw last season.
