I am not happy with the way this d!khead has deprived us of an international in Hull this year. He bleats about the not been able to leagally allocate a specific date in October/November to play a Rugby League International and blames it on the RFL for not waiting till June. How come then ; 1. Old Trafford is booked for 10th October for the RFL Grand Final 2. Wigan have agreed a weekend in November Sat/Sun TBC 3. Doncaster have firmed a date for one international. 4. The Galpharm has firmed up a date for one international. 5. Elland Road has been booked for the the Autumn International Final. He does not want the comunity stadium to be used for the comunity, only for the out of towners that come to watch Hull City. I listened with interest to the Hull City Fans Forum on Humberside tonight as Duffen and Brown were the guests on the panel. During the show David Burns, in his normal brown nosing way to Mr. Chairman (Duffen) commented I bet you have received a lot of mail and texts form the RFL Fans regarding the lack of an international at the KC. His reply was no I did not think they could write, Burns quickly moved him on quite embarrased by the comment. That man is a tool and I would hope we and the tennants at the KC can get a good chant of Duffen Out at the good friday Derby just to show the football git what the RFL fans in Hull think of him. Then we can get back to hurling abuse at each other. |

As I banned from their forum I have been laughing my head off at some of the comments. It may have slipped their notice that Hull SL were in fact offered an equal share of the SMC by Adam Pearson. The problem was that Fatty Richardson was only interested in getting his money back that he had "invested" in Gateshead as was Kath Hetherington and they could not raise the money to be part of the company. It was AP who was the driver of the project and Hull SL did nothing but move in when it was built. They, like Hull City and tenants of the stadium which is run by SMC for a profit and nothing more. There is no conflict of interest between Duffen's role as Chairman of both companies. They were given a date by the RL for a fixture and Duffen quite rightly could not commit the booking until he knew what Hull City's fixtures were. This would be because moving a match on the day of the RL game had to have the approval of both the FL and the club involved. Nobody has thought to ask why the RL did not offer a game which could have been played on a Friday night or a Sunday, after all that is when ALL other RL matches take place! |

TBF this isn't a HullFC v Hull City debate it is a bout the people of Hull being denied live International RL in their home city despite its huge demand. Duffen is out of order and owes the people of Hull an explanation. |

There are more than 25000 Rugby League fans in this city. Time to demand our rights as residents of the city entitled to the benefits of the stadium built for the people of Hull, with our money. |
