Briscoe

Cockayne
Webster
Walker
Fox

I'anson
Dobson

Fozzard
Fitzhenry
Mills
Galea
Lovegrove
Murrell

Fisher
Netherton
Watts
Aizue

Gone for our biggest side in terms of our centres, second rowers and props with Cockayne on the wing for his kick returns.
Stop Gidley scoring, stop Saints possession, stop their confidence.

Thought Welham tackled well above his weight to be honest, would be surprised if he misses out. (unless hes injured)

Walker will play on the left to combat Gidley with his physicality and I would have gone for Whelham but I feel Webster is best equiped to deal with Gilmour. Besides he needs a run of games to improve his form.

Whelam's had a decent run with a string of excellent performances but the tackle on Bailey for the try which cost us the game against Leeds showed his inexperience and this worries me a little.

I think we'll get the most out of him by bringing him on slowly anyway.

1 missed tackle when he was isolated versus a prop forward verus been your best player this season both in attack and defence? If i were a rovers fan i'd be happy with him being against Gidley. Big learning curve for him but will bring him on massively playing against the best.

Chev will be on the left though and therefore against Gidley.

I think Webster needs a run of games to recapture some form (not that he was bad against Leeds in particular).

Walker would probably be more prone to being danced around than Welham though so i hope you do play him there!

Not if Chev catches Gidley early on and hurts him
Anyway, I've got a feeling Justin will move Murrell to 6 and Chev to 13...

Welham actually missed 5 tackles on friday stat man.

Welham is still learning his trade and missing the Saints away may not be a bad thing. I remember Gleeson giving Yeaman the run around when Yeamo had just broken into the first team.

It may be a game for experienced players for Rovers.

Stick Webster on the wing, he is proving to be very poor in the centres, which is why he was liked as a winger in Aussie.

Was excellent at the start of last year though, he was the form centre of the league at that time. Though playing against that young kid (Armstrong?) from Saints might be a good idea.
