Ronaldo.
When watching the game I thought Cooke had tripped him in the play that ended up in Fox being sin-binned. But watching again on Sky, McGuire throws himself on the floor. So Cooke can have the week off next week once Stuart Cummings decides he tripped him.
DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)
I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

It's idiots like McGuire who are turning our game into farce. Diving should stick to football. And then he gets MOTM to boost his ego even more. Briscoe should have got MOTM - even though we lost. Brilliant returns, brilliant try saving tackle, and brilliant tackle on Ablett (although he got injured, Briscoe was committed to the tackle, and couldnt really stop, could he?)

I know you're a black and white, and I'll let you off because of the time, but I think you're missing the point.

agree, hes a total clown, good player, but no way did he deserve the MOM, Briscoe should have definetely got it!
a persons opinion of Danny Mcguire is usually a good indication of their RL knowledge
for some reason, the less knowledgable have a blind spot when it comes to Danny Mcguire and cant see what he offers
he ran the show for leeds last night, and was the difference between leeds winning and losing, everything good we did came through him and he was clearly the best half on the field, and thats playing in his secondary position

Just a thought so dont all go spitting the dummy out but when Cooke got near McGuire is it not possible running a that speed and trying the switch running directions that on a wet pitch McGuire just slipped and fell over???
Tbh he could have just slipped but I won't make comment until tomorrow when I've seen the match again. Leeds do employ a few dodgey tactics such as jumping to contest a kick but been miles away from the ball to distract to catcher etc. Theres no rules against any of what Leeds and McGuire in particular do. Doesn't always make it pretty to watch and no doubt irritates opposition fans but it works and until they make a law against it they should carry on.
