Hall would be a good signing that our excellent coach could develop into a top class player.

Washbrook is a good tackle buster but gives away a few penalties and is a bit of a one-trick pony with his side-step off his right foot.

Having said that though, he must have so much respect for our great club given he felt the need to celebrate scoring a try whilst in the process of taking the most humiliating beating in the history Hull derbies...

BTW the way, a little dickie bird told me that Washbrook isn't a happy chappy at the moment as a "Gentleman's agreement" hasn't been adhered to...

I'd be disappointed if we lost Hall but then i wouldn't blame him for leaving due to the way that Agar manages him.

On form of the last 18 months i really rate Washy but wouldn't be overly disappointed if we lost him to you guys. The comment from Zod earlier about his step etc was way off the mark, Danny hasn't shown that for a while since the persistent injuries he's had and doesn't have any of the pace any more that would make him a danger. I'd still convert him to 9 and keep him as he has a lot to offer but not concerned.

He has been dumped on from a great height by Agar needlessly. I hope he signs for a club that allows him to express his talent rather than dwell on the negative aspects of his game. He is an exciting player to watch and players like him are few and far between. No centres are perfect in all facets of the game just ask Keith Senior after Webster and then Fox made a mug of him last Friday night

Agree 100%. Thing is, Hally is still young and still learning. Agar seems to enjoy using him as a scapegoat. If i was Hall and Agar asked me to cover on the wing at Salford on Saturday i'd tell him to clear off. He'll only blame him for all the tries conceded down his side of the field and then drop him again.

I'm not a fan of Agar, and I don't think he's handled Hall particularly well, but at no point did he blame him for the tries scored on his wing at Wigan. In fact he went out of his way to say how Hall had been doing his best to cover that position due to injuries.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hall leave due to the lack of 1st team rugby he's getting at centre, but there really isn't any sign of him being scapegoated this season.

Whatever Agar says i tend to take with a pinch of salt, the fact he's dropped Hall says to me that he does blame him for the tries at Wigan. Whiting was at fault for more than Hall imo but kept his place. I still firmly believe Agar uses Hall as his scapegoat and think he has this year as well as last year.

Fairly obvious that it would be Hall and also possibly Washy although Washy is under contract so Rovers would need to find some money for a fee.

He was 'dropped' for Calderwood - our one and only specialist winger. I'm not sure how this can be used as evidence of him being used as a scapegoat TBH.

The whole defence was at fault. Nobody lost their place because of it. Hall wasn't dropped, he made way for Calderwood in a position where he was only ever a stand-in. The ONLY argument here is whether Whiting or Hall should have got the right centre position. Personally I'd have preferred Hall to get it, but handing it to a player who's been playing well there is hardly controversial. All it really does is indicate that Agar prefers Whiting's style of centre play to Hall's - and there are plenty of FC fans posting on here who agree with that POV.
