Job done for Hudge, finished higher than Hull FC on 2 occassions, but that's as good as it gets and he's seen the writing is on the wall, time to jump ship, i've had my fun, bugger rover's future.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?

Any chance of applying this to your posts, because so far they've been complete shizzle?
Or alternatively, just don't bother.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

So, that's a "No" then.

The main problem being that when we were a NL1 (or NL2) club most FC fans thought that was alright and in their mind we would never get into SL. Even once we came up it would be a fun year watching us struggle (even talk of a record low points tally). Lets face it FC were grand finalists we were never going to get anywhere near competing with them.
The problem starts when we do compete and suddenly FC's little comfort zone is rocked and the fans start to twitch and need someone to aim their vitriol at so Hudgell gets it.
I personally don't see what he has done so badly wrong to FC, I suppose the Cooke thing is the major gripe, but lets be honest, as a club just promoted to be offered the chance of signing someone of the quality of PC, NH would have to be an idiot to turn it down. Do you really think it was done just to get one over on FC!!! That signing probably kept us up that year.
The big difference between East and West is simple, that lot don;t want us in SL because they're scared of not being the big men in the city, personally I'd rather have them in it and prove we are. So jealous of FC, never have been never will be....
Think you hit the nail on the head. Theres always been rivalry between the two clubs, its natural. However some of the vitriol spouted on these pages is completely OTT. HFC are not THE only competetive team in Hull anymore, no matter how many times FC fans deny it HKR are a good team with a good manager & a good board. I think people need to get some perspective, Hull is the only city to have 2 top SL teams, we have a huge pool of local talent in the BARLA leagues, we have passionate fans on both sides of the river, Im pretty sure both clubs have the largest away support in the competition, we should be proud of that. Im not saying we should all be "friends", but come on not everything red & white is bad & everything black & white is good (and vice versa).

Before your move to the KC, FC's average was around 6,000, are you saying that Hull FC also have 6,000+ glory hunters?.

thats called a modern all seater state of the art stadium that attracts fans, not that poor excuse of a cabbage field and a few temporary stands down poorhouse lane, were the away fans need binnoculars just to see the game.
