People of different races can be the same religion. Discrimination of religious beliefs is often classed as racism, especially when aimed at the Jewish faith, this is because its directly linked to ethnicity. Also making an assumption that anyone of a South Asian descendency is a Muslim is common and also a racist comment. In the true definition of the words racism is discrimination due to race, religious discrimination is against religion. So in essence you're both correct and wrong.

The German Jews were killed by the German people they belonged to the same culture, they were killed for their beliefs, religion in this instance. I could provide a lot more examples...Attacks due to religion is racism I am definatley right.....Discriminating is when individuals are treated differently due to their religion, eg refused because of specific religion etc...Racism is an attack on a person eg violence, name calling etc.

No its not, racism is an attack on a person due to race, I could attack someone or call them a name and it not have any racist element at all. In essence your saying anyone convicted of GBH is a racist.

Racism is an attack (either physical, verbal etc) on a person due to race, religion or culture...(nothing to do with a fight due to god knows what)

Discrimination is treating some-body different due to either, gender, race, religion or cluture etc..

I am genuinley truly horrified people really do not know what racism really is.
