You were not even bothered about rovers then though mate. And you know it.
I think this, Rovers are "guilty" of bending rules to suit themselves, but have been caught well short. The RFl needs to sort out some better rules, and also the visa application / acceptance process needs to be resolved. We look more like a joke sport otherwise.

Really? With the bad luck he's brought, and his obvious desire to be elsewhere already?
By the way, what's Rovers' view on him courting another club whilst under contract to you - naughty boy. Illegal under RFL law - will Hudge let it go? (See, I've not mentioned Cooke once. )

Last time I checked it was all speculation and rumour (Although some will claim that they know from sauces but can't divilge) i'm not asying it isn't true BTW but still. Even our local gutter press are struggling to get concrete dirt on the subject (all the statements I have seen have been rather 'blah'). As for RFL rules i'm not sure him talking to a RFU club is included although I could be wrong.

Given that your own board have decided not to proceed with another dispensation request because of "the French Connection"...

... I'd say it was a "given" rather than a "saucy rumour". Do you really think that if there was a shred of hope that Willie was straight Hudge would have issued this statement?
And so I ask again - do you still want him?

Hudge could well be not going down that road until he is sure it is just a rumour so as to stop this getting even more farcical (Yes it is possible). And i'll answer you again Yes (although I didn't give my reasons before) Yes if he has been unfront, No if he hasn't Put it this way IF as you assume Hudge is aware of the complete situation and Willie hasn't been honest why put THAT statement out? Why not just state the french connection directly instead of saying they are going to talk to him over 'Media reports'. That sounds to me like the club are still not totally sure what is going on themselves.

lots of people are clutching straws and making up hypothetical scenarios etc, jumping to conclusions etc etc etc....
the simplified facts are the club expected galea to come off quota... they signed mason . they failed to get galea off quota but still awaited mason . to get around the qouta they applied for a tongan passport . season started dobson injured after second game i believe it was the club then chose to try a loophole and flew mason over on his nz passport/visa they then de-registered dobson and registered mason pending the passport . just less than a week to the derby all hell breaks loose and all of a sudden movement of sorts by the club. they attempted a last ditch attempt to get a passport sorted but was not enough for the rfl to allow mason to qualify as non quota...they need the passport. . the club then take the steps of de-registering mason and re-registering dobson amid wild speculative reports of french ru interest in mason etc etc etc . the club say that they will not look for dispensation to re-register mason. . queue the masses with the mason off to french ru etc etc etc.. totally unsubstantiated as yet. . how about the club are just back to square one and are just letting what is to be what is in regards to timescales ala mason passport. as a kr fan i do feel very very dissapointed that this fiasco has happened... the club have acted foolishly imo. they enacted ala mason in the effort to try and make a quick buck out of the supporters in a leap of faith move over the passport timings. . in regards to mason.... wait and see what happens now.... speculating and creating rumours and such is just as bad as the poor press etc surrounding the entire issue.
