Clinton Newton Dobson Briscoe Fox Lovegrove Murrell Galea Vella Watts Colbon
IMO would all be above him in a players ranking of top players, if you narrow it down to backs id still say theres 3 id rather have playing.
Dont get me wrong if he does go we would need a new centre though.
Really? I think Webster is one of the best players you have at Craven Park. Maybe not as important because he doesnt play in a pivotal role but always a dangerous player IMO.
If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

At the risk of raising Smokey TA from beyond the grave, I think Webster is a class act in Rovers backline, its his fondness of picking up injuries that will work against him.
He shows a good turn of pace for a man carrying Kirk Yeaman in his back pocket!

Yes its not a pivotal role and he is dangerous (sometimes not always) but good enough for the extra quota spot? with the ammount of "injuries" he picks up during games and the money he must be on id say No.
Id much rather have Fox, Briscoe or Colbon in my back line who are all British players and more then likely on less money (especially colbon) then Webster, and i think all 3 are more consistant players then him also.

Shentons not that good, good defence, but average going forward.
Not many good English centres about, see the England team for confirmation.
Webster is a good player, if I was rovers fan I would much rather release Fisher and Galea and sign a HB, getting english players at hooker and Backrow is much easier than quality centres.

Id rather we ditched PMH/Galea and keep Lovebucket - then i could for the 1st time ever, be happy with someone elses surname on my shirt
I'm confused myself now, does this mean I've just signed for Rovers for next season under the alias of Terrence Lovebucket?
I haven't played since 1993, we're in serious trouble.
Oh, and I'll do for a Cadbury's Boost a bottle of Old Jamaica ginger beer (made with fiery Jamaican ginger root) and a second hand copy of Razzle.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

How far off is Walker from fitness you could release Webster and use Walker at centre. Not as good as Webster, but is a solid player, better than Craig Hall IMO.
