And when will the old north be ready as the new south?

That is a question that is up in the air it seems as it should have already been taken down by all accounts.

Was it always planned to go to the south?

Hopefully it will be there for the derby.

That could be just a change in sponsers so the new ones may not be ready to go up yet.
The Main Contractor has only just returned to work this week after Xmas so things should start to move now on appointing the subcontractors, as posted elswhere though the main bulk of the work is on the complex that the North Stand bolts on to so the build is not driven by Rovers ours is only a small part of the overall project. I would expect a kick off planning meeting with all concerned during the next week or so and a possible provisional project plan produced for all to see, bearing in mind it is a 50 week project due to be completed before the 2013 season there is still plenty of time to start.

It was always the hope I think not sure if it was cast in stone in the origional plans though.

Wasn't the last bit of info from Mike Smith/Rovers stating that the proposed start date was going to be Jan 2012?

Do you have any direct involvement (or contact within) the build? (Seem to know the ins n outs from the construction side that's all)

Hopefully by this time next year the Kevin Costner North Stand will be/nearly completed - I'm sure there's many sceptics who will doubt this tho'.

Not directly but part of the company I work for has bid for some of the work so I know where we are regarding contracts being awarded.

End of February work will commence.
