Also it wasn't until Paea slammed the ball down that the ref blew, he had been just shouting until that point, Again IIRC.

Yeh, he was chuffed then disgusted once he realised the referee had ruled 'whatever' he ruled.
I do think Roby had already given his decision before Paea got the ball down tho. It looked like a few players had stopped

Not that it really matters

Normally I would agree, but he was limping off at half time, both teams legged it as soon as the hooter went but was struggling. Shouldn't have come back out IMO.

Best part of the day was the greasy spoon on the main road. Something Gnosh? Only a small place next to a side alley which lead to the stadium but ordered a small bacon, egg and sausage sandwich for £2. It was huge :) As for the game, absolute write off. Our players were not interested at all but on the same note credit has to go to you. did the basics well and pulled off some good tries in terrible conditions. betts will be out soon

Good luck for the rest of the season. How many did we bring yesterday? It didn't seem too many for me, a couple of hundred at most but then again its a 4 hour round journey in the windy rain.

Back the bid - not back it until the going gets tough. WTID

Fair play for enduring the conditions. It was dire.
Hard to judge numbers, I'll go with a few hundred.
Noticed the kennels and burger van had a few sheltering for long periods and can't blame them.
Hopefully your side will give you guys something to cheer soon. Jon Clarke may have looked like Johnathan Thurston, but he certainly didn't play like him. Shaun Briscoe needs to work on his first touch a bit more.
Betts' comments were interesting and sound a bit desperate

Indeed. The fact is the Widnes players sdidn't have the stomach for an arm wrestle yesterday, and that is down the wanting to fight for your coach. They clearly don't respect him.

Disagree - they dont sound desperate to me.... they sound like utter tripe from someone who couldnt even do the biz in the NL
Yes the weather was shocking , but he must be deluded if he thinks that was the deciding factor

Betts had a point, we were hanging on at 30-0, luckily we got that vital last try to kill off a spirited no point come back..

God, you're good looking!

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

2 things about that statement.
1 we were 30 points up, how can you be hanging on when you are 30 points up?
2 They had tons of ball but the could have played until tuesday and they wouldn't have scored they were clueless with ball in hand.

If you only knew the POWER of the dark side.
