HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again

Why, all previous statements about this happening have come true, if anything today should be your worst nightmare. :P

I don't live in Hull, so am not affected by the council exposing its rate payers to a £4.2m risk, so why would it give me nightmares? You're the ones who should be worried, big pressure on now to hit more than 10k every week as your costs have gone up and you need 10k just to break even.

Which bit?
Your costs have gone up, confirmed by Phil Webster's comment on the loan interest/rental payments. Your chairman has said you need 10,000 average to break even. And I don't live in Hull. All sounds right to me.

A lot of people don't think you live on this planet.... :D
Speaking of not living in Hull, why do you spend your time worrying about Rovers then?....
...surely in these hard times, your time would be better spent on the Cas and/or Wakie forums, questioning the moves to build 2 stadia instead of one.

Why should the break even figure on attendances go up. If the current income streams stay the same then the break even figure will of course rise but your not taking into account Rovers income streams increasing.

Also a figure of £54000 has being mentioned as a repayment figure per annum. Now if we get an extra 3000 Hull fans for the derby due to the North stand with those Hull fans each paying £18 each then i make that the £54000 per annum needed. :)

Just a quick quote....I was at the Guildhall yesterday, I am the the one that presented the petition, and I was also there when we recieved our fantastic news! ( I even hugged Carl Minns in my excitement  )

So I would like to thank everyone who signed it, including the odd B&W  and helped us in clinching the funds to enable us to fulfil our dreams at Craven Park! And yes it was our 10,504 signatures that helped!

I am still on a high, hence the stupid o'clock posting  And many thanks for all the congratulations and praise, it was a struggle at times to keep the petition going but our efforts have paid off, and it makes me very proud to be a part of the rugby community.

So on behalf of Julie and Mike Joyce......THANK YOU

Quoted from HDM....
It is understood that Rovers will be required to help source external match funding of around £2.3m, but an application has already been made to secure the cash.
Rovers are to agree to a 30-year lease on the stand.
It is understood the rent on this will be minimal for the first four years, but will be subject to an increase each year as and when attendances increase.
Various agencies will be housed in the Enterprise Hub and Training centre, which will be part of the development.
This will provide space for upto 40 new business start-ups and support services, as well as adult education agencies.

All looks pretty Rosey down at the NCP... :DRUMMER:

"An application has been made?" What does that mean - that the £2.3m's not actually in place yet?
So the council are paying back the prudential fund at say 3% interest (average for central government funding), Rovers and friends pay the council a nominal amount until attendances rise in 4 years, and the council isn't disadvantaged by this cashflow shortfall? OK then. And "as and when" attendances don't go up? Who guarantees the repayments? Ah, yes, the Hull ratepayers.
