If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

This just gets better. I reckon I could mangle this thread into a half decent sit com. It'd have to be ITV obviously.

Fool? Maybe, but still able to go watch a player make his debut for Rovers this weekend, when your club practically begged him to join 3 1/2 years ago. Still, having missed out, you turned to some quality replacements as can clearly be seen by your fortunes post-2007.

It's actually more permanent than that. Colin Armstrong's come out of retirement and as predicted by fc imp (for the last three years) we're about to go bust. Therefore we can't afford to pay Big Willie.
So it is, in fact, a swap deal. FACT.

You will go bust shortly after Mr Parasol decides to walk away, who knows when that could be? Your certainly in no position to survive on the back of your own efforts.

Is this like a family tradition with you?
There's a fair chance that at some time or another a good few RL clubs will go pop, I suppose if you repeat it over and over again over many many years, at some point you'll be correct. You can then come back and say "told you so!" You might even want to stick your tongue out, blow a raspberry. Put one of these Or maybe one of these Don't know what that means though, so maybe not.
Did your grandaddy (bless his heart) repeat all along the pubs of Spring Bank that Rovers would go bust every Saturday night from 1953 onwards? And then when we did go bust, did he run into Polar Bear and show his backside shouting "told you so!"?
It's that isn't it?

That puts us in some good company, along with the majority of other SL clubs then doesn't it?
As a life long supporter of the club, I don't expect Mr Crossland to be walking away anytime soon, although I'm sure you know better.
