Who are your current non-fed players?

I think for Stewart it's a question of whether last year was one too far, or if Jukes was simply using him wrong. He was being used as an extra half back, which he was no good at and weakened our pack. Langi is a promising player, but needs to find a position. He's not a centre for me, gets lost positionally in defence and doesn't seem to pass the ball. Is a strong runner though.

Vea improved slightly towards the end of the season, but his defence is too weak imo. If you do sign him, expect your half back to be making a lot of tackles down that side if he plays second row. Again, may be that Sheens plays him as an interchange prop, whereas Jukes saw him as an 80 minute second rower.

Not sure, only read this on twitter and Beaumont hinted you had signed some Leigh players yesterday.

I'd guess at Clake, ZDC and Blair?

I'd be disappointed with any of those, no better than we already have and certainly not worth a quota.
Struggle to see any Leigh players as better (or fit enough) to improve our team.

I would pay for Stewart transport to Humberside , for me he ranks in Leigh's top 3 worst ever overseas signings, and will cost a few quid as well for his services.His stats last season , he scored as many tries as my scottie Dog Louie,None.

I agree about Ellis as been one of the signings....underwhelming yep! Tbh I couldn't see us bringing in a quota half to partner mcguire so it would of either been him or Atkin at 7. I really can't see is touching Leigh especially not any of their quota players perhaps mortimer been an exception....I wouldn't complain signing robbie farrah but we're well covered at 9?.

It's a struggle to pick anyone from the teams who played against us this year, maybe Mortimer.
I do like Mitch Brown, seen him have some good games on the telly, good under the high ball and a solid return on him.
The problem is he's an Aussie so would take up a Quota slot

Stewart has been poor when iv seen him and his best days well behind him. Went missing when his team needed him most last weekend.Vea again isn't good enough or big enough. Of the 3 mentioned Langi is probably the best but is no better than what we already have. Burr could be worth a punt but I wouldn't want any of their backs apart from Mortimer if quota place spare?

Craig, Stewart was our highest paid player last season and was very poor, Vea is a big lad but very ordinary, struggled to get into the team on a regular basis, you are right Langi is the best of them all a real handful, I'm not keen on Burr either , for me Mitch Brown and Mortimer would both be worth a punt , but I hope we can keep them.

One thing's for sure, Stewart and Vea will provide some 'experience' in your pack, and boost your average age, big time! Stewart has been a major disappointment this season. (although he did make 50 tackles against Catalans on Saturday) Vea has never really achieved anything spectacular - although he's a solid worker. Langi has potential, although probably not at centre.

I tend to agree with one of your contributors - there are more than three of your 2017 squad, who I would gladly have replaced them with!
