Not sure that's too far out tbh. Top & bottom looks about right, swap Rovers for Cas & I reckon that could be pretty close.

pmh - don't call dayvoz dog poop. Completely unnecessary.

dayvoz - I'm nice. Or at least my nastiness is usually fairly subtle. So I'll describe your intreptation of Rupert Pupkin's earlier post as 'rather literal'. When people include the winking emoticon in their post it is often indicative that they don't mean exactly what they have written. RP, I suspect, was playing up to, while simultaneously mocking, the charge of some Hull fans that all Rovers care about is beating them (the small club syndrome that you mention).

With our current squad, I couple of key injuries and he could be right for Hull, I think we will finish 8th, Rovers 6th.

My apologies dayvoz.

Your jealousy and bitterness at not being selected as a moderator on the hull board is duly noted.

Back on topic, sporting life makes more predictable, erm, predictions...

http://www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=rleague/11/02/04/RUGBYL_Super_Clubs.html&BID=480

http://www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=rleague/11/02/04/RUGBYL_Super_Overview.html&BID=480

Bottom end of the play-offs for both KuH clubs - 6th for Hull and 7th for Rovers, not deviating far from 2010's outcome.

With a fair wind I think Rovers could do better - we were missing our 6 and 12 for more or less the whole season last year and have finally replaced them. On the other hand I'm not sure we're strong enough yet to take a run of bad luck in our stride like the top 2 or 3 clubs can. And there'll be tough spell at some point, you can almost guarantee.

Hull are tougher to call - decent 17, but their squad needs a couple of additions.

You taking notes all about me ? Finger on lips you little urchin.

As for Ian Laybourn on Sporting Life I think he's about right. As Mild Rover states Hull need a signing or two of decent quality to improve from last year but our pack will be better than last year's in my view with the addition of Westerman, and Moa operating at a higher level of fitness. Rovers have the potential to improve slightly but an injury to either half would offer challenges as it does for any team. Mason may make an impact later in the season although recent form suggests he will have more impact off the field than on.
