I dont know what qualities he is trying to bring but to me it looks like he is trying to progress the youngsters for the World Cup. Only problem is these backs dont really have anyone to guide them and lead them, Tomkins is indevidually great but when the chips are down can he drag the team out of that hole and fight our way back into it? Robinson and Brown are never going to work on the big stage either.

I dont know but looking at that squad if I was him i'd be glad of the snub.
I would imagine getting completly slaughtered wouldn't be on my to-do list.
