Dobson took stick on national TV in Oz for not being a team player etc. Newton has been giving stick to your halves for not playing well enough. One of your directors has been saying Dobson is only average. Brough could do a far better job for you than Dobson does currently. (plus Ainscough is the next big thing for me so would be good business to get him)
I agree with you dave, 2 very good players + cash for 1. I also think brough could offer more then dobson currently does and i'm not slagging dobbo off but i think that kind of deal would suit rovers

Plus, of course, the overseas contingent would be reduced. Although Brough for Dobson is pretty much a like for like I'll believe it when it happens.

How can you say Brough would offer more than Dobson?
Yes Brough is a good player, but I think Dobson is far superior.
Brough in the same team as Dobson maybe, but if it came to one or the other, Dobson for me anyday

Because the rumour's gathering momentum. Time to dial down Dobson's importance and big up Brough (whose lifestyle choices would go down a storm with your professional Aussie clique BTW) as the inspirational half back of the decade. That's how it works.

Youve been doing this too long !!!!!

Lets hope they dont dial down his importance too much. We wouldnt want any ammunition to throw back at them when the news breaks that Brough is staying at Wakey and suddenly Dobbo becomes untouchable once again !!!
