My guess is that on reflection, Morgan probably regrets saying what he has and though he may have a point, he has gone about it the wrong way. IMO of course.
Unfortunately these 'channels' rarely have any effect at all, the RFL always backs referee's even when it blatantly obvious they have performed poorly or made a major error. I can understand it iffrustrations get the better as they did yesterday, which was a shocking performance by the referee.

Of course it includes the press, If he was out there every other week like Phil Brown his words would have no creedance but he isn't. Justin has decided to highlight this pathetic refereeing performance because obviously using the correct channels against this particular referee doesn't work.
Hopefully now Cummings will be forced to publically answer Justins claims.
Just a shame Justin didn't publically decide to slate the schoolboy errors and poor performances of the players to such an extent

Wasnt it Daniel Anderson who continually complained about a particular referee and in the end the RFL decided to never appoint this ref for any Saints game?

Don't agree.
Using the press to air grievances towards match officials is unprofessional. I like Morgan he is an astute coach and very articulate, but his post match rant at Thaler was poor.

Maybe that was in Justins thinking.
Might work for Saints, but I expect a more than average number of our games given to Thaler for the rest of the season.
He is a poor referee, even on the televised games I have watched him in. I did notice one thing yesterday about him, when the fans were getting 'irate' enough for a tannoy announcement to be made, he looked over and grinned, a more mature and professioinal referee would not have reacted in any way at all. Maybe he has an ego and needs to be the centre of attention, in which case a public demotion to the National Leagues might curb it a bit.

You seem to be quite content to have poor standards of refereeing. If the RFL don't act this is what happens through frustration.
