there was a guy on humberside from the rfl and it was him who said he didnt think a player who is deregistered from a club is allowed to train or recieve rehab from that club.

So a player is seriously injured in his last ever game for a club, are we to say that he is on his own as far as treatment for the injury is concerned. Pi$$ poor sport if thats true. Dobbo received his injury playing for Hull KR and it should not matter if he is no longer registered, we have a moral duty to get him fit again.

dont blame me i didnt say it. I dont even understand how he becomes a free agent as he still has a contract just not registered? and btw i agree with ya

Didn't Chev stay at the club the following season and complete his rehab, he was just not offered a contract after his deal was up, which by this time he was fit again and signed for Bradford.

You must have been listening to something different, It was Ralph Rimmer and he stated it happens all the time. Such as when players are waiting for Visas they train with NRL clubs. Plus Joel Monaghan trained with Warrington before he signed for them
