Bitterness and the angst associated with being “our little brother”

Do you go on your own forum and read some of the tripe on there? Though I’m sure you’re oblivious to it as you probably contribute as much.

“Little brother”
“Cup final”

Anymore?

Being on these forums and to pleasant to your rotten lot for more than 12 years is the issue. No grounds for sensible debate anymore.

Shows the difference between small club and big club. Rovers are happy being losers lol. Thought the ref let rovers stand offside most of the game and with a 4 day turn around for Hull, it leveled the game up massively. I think if we played each other every week, we’d go all season unbeaten. Just a class apart and on 60 minutes, our superior class shone through.

It really does run deep doesn’t it! I suppose 35 years does that to a club and it’s supporters.

Got to laugh at the Hull fans, crowing because they scraped past a half strength and youthful Rovers team.

Turning point was the missed penalty, at 18-12 there'd have been no way back for Hull and we'd have kicked on to win by 18-24 pts

I do feel a bit sorry for the Hull fans who genuinely resent and are affronted by the charge of arrogance, when those that revel in it roll up with their ‘comedy’. After all, the former are not their gormers’ keepers.

On the other hand, claims that we were the better team over 80 minutes are... well I don’t agree, pleased as I was with our team’s effort. The idea that Hull are ‘just big’ and that somehow renders their superiority less valid also seem strange to me. All SL teams have strengths and limitations to varying degrees, but I don’t see how ‘just big’ is any different to ‘just fast’ or ‘just skilful’. Our adherence overall several seasons, born partly this year out of sad necessity, to a small ball approach isn’t a virtue in of itself.

Can you give me the lottery numbers for tonight please? I actually think you believe that...hilarious given your guys couldn’t muster a single break in the last 20 minutes.

Probably because the momentum had swung.

You had no answer to our free flowing style

We made you look very ordinary in the third quarter

Think we had a pretty good answer, that's why we have the two points.

Another one that doesn't understand momentum swings and turning points
