I would also have Sio back in a heartbeat. In addition to his qualities highlighted above he was fantastic in the air, both attack and defense. If Hall and Dagger are to be 2 of the back 3 I also agree we need a stronger kick returner to complement them. We have the cap, quota spot and, imo, need a winger. Not sure there are many other clubs that could also tick all three of those boxes. Add to the fact we have a prior relationship with him, I have to hope we are in for him.

For me, it,s a no brainer. We were "covered" for backs at the start last season. We got to the point where most of our starting backs were unavailable or crocked and we ended up in the qualifiers again. Sio is quality and would improve the squad and we need to improve. Quinlan probably missing all next season, not sure about Lunt, and injuries will happen. Yes, we need some forwards and I think a full back, but if quality becomes available we have to go for it.

Very disappointing if true. With his previous affiliation to Rovers, a quota place and salary cap space available and such little quality on the market we should have secured him.
