Anyway, Jordan Cox will shortly explode onto the scene and since he is a natural left sided and wide running second-row forward he will compliment Newton perfectly.

Are you Andrew Webster?

As much as Taylor has impressed everyone as an interchange prop i think his future is in the back row (like Mariano) and now seems as good a time as any to give him an extended run in that position. This would allow Galea to be used in a more creative role rather than as a structured running back rower. Taylor and Newton are both strong running line breakers and with a floating role for Galea it would increase Rovers attacking threat accross the park imo. Murrell has great utility value to the team and this is better employed from the bench where he offers great cover in the halves, at hooker and in the back row.

Good call on the Galea / Murrell change, my only worry is that moving Galea would break up the partnership he seems to have formed with Welham which has been our best outlet all year. I still have Webster edging Hall at the moment. Really like cook as well, its just where to fit him in.

His earning potential will be greatly enhanced if he were to play second row. Prop is not a well paid position unless you are absolutely top class (or australian  ).

Not sure where you have got this from, I'm pretty sure how much a player is paid will depend on how good they are and their experience.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go

Scarcity value will play a role too. Boom times could be ahead for props though with Morley and Peacock approaching the ends of their careers and Graham following two (possibly 3?) of the Burgess clan to the NRL. The Championship doesn't seem awash with fresh talent either, sadly.

Reckon half-back will be where the money is.

Probably right as they are the most important players to make a team tick but props can still be worth their weight in gold if they have the talent.
