Either way it make no sense to drop Taylor when he was playing so well and replace him in the squad with a player who is near certain not to play. Sends out the wrong signals imho.

Maybe just for balance of having a back and a forward as the 18th and 19th man in case something happens in the warm up?

Taylor had a knee in ice after the game last week.
Possibly still feeling a knock.
