Paul2812 wrote:Who's calling your away support ? My post was based on the lack of JM songs that you seem to have been planning with military precision. That and the embarrassing idiots who were drunkely fighting each other as they got off the coaches as previously mentioned in my previous post. Comedy gold.

But now you've mentioned it there wasn't that many of you there today. You had quite a good away support but it was only average when compared with other clubs who visit us. Posters on most of the RFL Fans boards tend to rip you lot because you have a very inflated view of your own away support. If that hurts your East Hull pride then tough. Get over it.

1000 -1500 tops. Hardly massive is it?

3 times what you will bring to Craven Park.

You maybe right there. But ask yourself why fans of other clubs, including ours, don't wan't to travel to either of the clubs in Hull to watch rugby league. I have two sons who I won't be putting at risk by travelling their again.

I have seen one murder in Orford, a few stabbings in Dallam and at least 100 plus Rugby League related scuffles in the Warrington town centre after Wire vs Widnes/Sts/Wigan games. What risk are you taking? Was it a personal situation in which you felt endangered? If so, I apoligize, however don't you run the risk of travelling anywhere? I'd feel most 'in danger' in the aforementioned places in Warrington as East Hull, that's for sure.

Yet our average home and away attendances was higher than your's last year.

Yes Champagne. Don't want to get into a cock measuring competition about the differences between Warrington & Hull, but after a couple of bad experiences I won't be coming back. There are a few posters on the Wire site that pretty much feel the same way.

Each to their own, I rarely hear of a bad story from Wire fans though personally, it's more of a 'wasn't as bad as I expected it to be' response.

Joel Monaghan top try scorer would be something!

Thats a lame excuse that doesn't wash in my opinion, i have visited every rugby league ground in England and Wales since the mid seventies and can honestly say, the two Hull clubs are no worse than anywhere else for trouble in proportion to the size of their support, in fact i can remember Warrinton (Wilderspool) and Widness (Naughton park) been two of the worst grounds for trouble during the seventies and eighties but it didnt stop either Hull clubs fans traveling in large numbers to those or any other of the rugby league grounds.
You will always get a few numb nuts causing trouble at all sports grounds but it is and always has been blown out of all proportion in most cases.
You are welcome to Craven park at any time to enjoy the game of rugby league and the banter without any concern for your safety from the large majority of rovers fans.

Why were you fighting amongst yourselves again? You're always very vocal and create a great atmosphere, shame a few knobheads spoil it.
