Pale blue doesn't do it for me. We had a very pale blue hooped one a couple of years ago, which I really like (looks great on me, obviously), but was a bit incongruous on the likes of Sam Moa and made the players look a bit, well, fairy-like and unthreatening. Look at Mason in this picture. He looks like his bunions are hurting he wants a sit down with a cup of Yorkshire Gold and slice of parkin to watch a repeat of A Place in the Sun : Home or Away? Not "grrrr" enough for me, I'm afraid.
Why have Rovers not done a proper retro shirt since their return to SL, a proper broad red band on a white background? Madness.

2008 was pretty traditional. 2006-2008 were all (attempts at) a traditional / classic look. 2009 was a variation that grew on me. 2010 was new and never quite did it for me - a white hoop or vee would have been good, but what was it - a voop?

2010 was hideous. I cannot think of a single redeeming feature of it. I mean just a plain, broad red band. No swooshy red shoulder/side things so it looks like H. Not a thin band, a broad one. Just one, broad, red band, on a plain white background. Nowt else. How difficult can that brief to a supplier be?
Would have said more Wilson than Godfrey. Mild, not bland.

Sure you've got the correct shirt. I liked our 2010 home shirt but the away shirt for me was the highlight simply the best Rovers shirt for many many years.

Found a half decent snap of the away shirt

It's a bit like getting Hull to submit 4 or 5 bands of black irregular hoops ( ie all the way round - not bars with an irritatingly disruptive stripe down the side) on a white background, similar on the arms, with no purple, grey or gold "Eternal Beau"-y type bits stuck on, to ISC.
Seemingly impossible. (Or at least, once in a pale blue moon.)
Of course, the year both teams get their traditional heads to coincide should be the year we meet in the Grand Final.
