I know what you mean, the trouble is he is very much an off the cuff type of player who either looks like a world beater or mr average. I am not sure that the methodic Melbourne Storm style suits his game plus he is playing second fiddle to Cronk and also Cam Smith. That said he has been doing a pretty good job for them.

When he was at the Eels he was the main man, along with Matteo and they both tned to play what they saw so it suited his game more.

Still think he would do well over here.

you've just described how Cooke changed going from fc to rovers, We need a more of a running 6 who can play ball, almost a foil to dobson rather than a main man trying to play 2 nd fiddle.

Rovers are desperate for a creative half back because Dobson doesn't cut it for me. His inability to unlock defences is there for all to see and he is much better used as a running type half back like he was at Wigan and Cats. IMHO the decision to offload Cooke has killed the season for Rovers.

Dobson's biggest attribute has always been his kicking game, he does not offer much with ball in hand. He either has to play the organising role with a runner alongside him or he plays the running role with an organising 6 along side him.

He and Cooke should have been a good match and I don't know why Morgan could not get them playing together.

IMO Galea has to play 6.
