Hull KR and Hull FC are what makes this city unique in RL in this country, I don't like FC, but I sure as hell want them to continue for as long as I am alive, the same as I do my club, the rivalry is REAL, forget any other so called derby, this city has the ONLY one and long may it continue.
Great post

Don't get me wrong I have a lot of friends who are rovers fans, but is a big no no for me.
Excuse me? supported Rovers for 30 years in dark days and not so I certainly know what the history is. A little patronising I think.

A little patronising?
Sort of like telling someone they would go watch a merged team after they've already stated they wouldn't you mean?
HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God

She inferred I didnt know of the rivalry because I didnt live in the city, patronising. I said she would go to see a merged team (allbeit eventually). Opinion.

But she may not go see a merged team, as alot wouldnt, me included, I often go watch West Hull, and would continue to in earnest if we merged, I couldnt/wouldnt accept a merged team, i was brought up down Subway St down Hessle Road, started going to the boulevard with my grandad, when my dad was at sea, Hull FC was and still is a massive part of my life, and memories of being with my grandad on the terraces is a memory ill cherish, i would hate to see Hull and Rovers disolve to make a "super team", and wouldnt support it, im a black and white, thank god itll never happen!!!

Which he and the board have underwritten, during a period of rapid growth and investment. Sunday was bad moment in a good era for Hull KR. You'd have to have a fairly over-developed sense of entitlement to deny that, as a Hull KR supporter. The Americans list the pursuit of happiness as an unalienable right - but it is the pursuit not the happiness that they seek guarantee. To increase your chances, go to a film (not Clash of Titans, though - it is poo, and they've still got no Titans in it, even at the second attempt) or a concert. Probably best avoid sports, unless it is WWE or the Harlem Globetrotters.

some fans are obsessed with finances, as long as my clubs ok, i really couldnt be ars*d with another teams finances/accounts! some have way to much time on their hands
