Actually, I think Roofs has stumbled across a good idea here, we get The Paddingtons on, people would stay away and hopefully I'd have a bit of space in the East Stand again.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I think he meant them playing before the game, not including them in the 17!

Please don't insult Hull's 3rd greatest ever band (after Kill Youth Culture, and The Freaks Union) like that.
The Paddingtons are a class band, and though they maybe wouldn't add any extra fans as such, I don't think this clown will either. Think about it, why pay £15-£18 to see him, when he will be playing public houses for free entry very soon.

Maybe none. However, that exposure could be a catalyst for said local band to become a huge mainstream act, and so if they played a return CP gig a year or two down the line it would probably draw more people then.

It's the first game of the season, traditionally the one attended by most "drifting" fans. You should be able to get a decent enough crowd without forking out unnecessary cash on 15 minutes of entertainment (plus half time)

Yes, literally one Hull fan alluded to that. Sort of.
