Based on the entry price of £20 if it adds an extra 346 fans per game for one full season (by charging those who have previously not been paying) then the turnstyles break even. Plus the other future benefits.
Who the hell are 346 fans getting in without paying?

Is there actually thought to be a problem with 'fare-dodging'? This hasn't been a primary concern for other clubs that have installed this type of system, from what little I've read.
If all grounds are going to have to fit these turnstiles for safety regulations in the future then maybe rovers are getting in early whilst they are still at this price. You would think that if it becomes a requirement that the manufacturers will hike up the price of them once they know that the clubs have to have them ???????

The funds raised from the Club Rovers scheme are apparently paying for this so maybe there is a separate pot for ground improvements, I hope so.
I think the recession, pure and simple, is the reason no further work has been done on the East Stand, once things pick up I'm sure that will be first on the job list.
If my information from a contractor is correct you could be pleasantly surprised during the close season

East stand extension has to be the priority. This will fit an additional 1200 Rovers fans in and leave the NTh stand for away fans, meaning the Sth stand really won't need to be used at all.
The other plans are major capital investments and in the current economic climate, not viable.

If we do that we'll increase the capacity but still end up using the South Terrace for big games, and have to put up with all this nonsense again. The sooner the South Terrace is removed the better even if it's replaced by another temporary stand in the short term.

Doubt it, 1200 extra Rovers fans in the East, let Hull have the North and the very few that would be left, if any would use the Sth and we are only talking one game a season. What's the other option, short of finding 6mill to build the new Nth stand.
Remember they don't travel like us so you don't need more than the Nth stand for them.

Forget FC, there seems to be a general feeling that they don't want to come because it means giving Rovers money (i assume Wire, Leeds etc let them in for free), you could put them in a luxury new stand with a comfy seat, but if its stopping giving us MONEY that makes them desert their team for derbies, then its irrelevant what stand you build.
Base it on improving for fans who will support their team without conditions, like Wigan, Leeds, Wire etc.

Conditions like being in SL?
I'd say its a small minority who refuse to go to CP because they dont want to give you any money regardless. Having said that as long as Rovers continue to only charge Hull FC full price for the South stand I will not be returning. I'm sure your all heartbroken
