Looking at the state of the windows in "The Eagle" pub today whe I drove past, I don't think it was.

Also spoke to a mate who is a steward there (she is in block 21, and her sis in the NE corner, and they both reckon it was far worse than has been reported.

Heard on the sports report City are looking to Millwall to compensate them for the damage, apparently 50 seats were ripped out.

I would have thought there would have been tons of coppers at the game and lots of CCTV surveillance, why didn't they pile in when the first one got ripped out.

I agree with the previous poster, imagine if this happened at a rugby game. This has had little press, a bit of handbags at Caravan park a couple of years ago and it was all over the telly.

You'd think it would be easy to find out who ripped the seats out. They'd be the ones stood up for the remainder of the game.

Aren't coppers supposed to arrest people when they commit a crime ? Ripping out seats is criminal damage, as soon as they saw that being committed they should have gone in and made arrests. They only arrested 3 people at the game according to reports.

Maybe I am being naive but I can't believe these animals can cause so much damage in full view of the police and get away with it.

If they had have gone in, hell would have broken loose.

I'm sure with the CCTV they have, arrests will be made following the police investigations. In my opinion, it wasn't safe for them (plus the other Millwall fans) to make arrests there and then.
