And I'm unanimous in this

I can’t help but feel that everybody at F.C. can’t believe their luck. With a good set of young props coming through and a chance to rake in a good pot of cash to offload ‘a troubled player’ it’s a win-win scenario!

Not luck, it's called investing money in the youth and eventually reaping the rewards, a bit like Leeds and Wigan have done for years.

But it's a fair point, we had a good few years off Watts and he played a big part in our recent success, lets hope he can improve himself off the field (and calm down on the field) and realise how good he could be.

Been released by 3 clubs now and none of them to do with his ability.

NH said this team is better then the one that got relegated. Now don't get me wrong I think Hudge has been awesome in what he has done for us but is he deluded??? I think that he knows that there is no relegation this season and that's why we have average SL players at best. Masoe is lazy (how many times did he carry the ball against Cats) and he is the only size prop we have. Besides Carney we have no wingers to boast about. Our centre's are also average but will have the odd decent game or 2. Our half backs and hooker (Lunt) aint miracle workers. Blair is drifting in and out the games more then he has done since he signed for us. We need a massive shake up and quick. Cos if there is relegation (think SL will expand to 14) then we will be going down yet again. And lets see if them same fans that did back us back the club again. Patients do run out quickly and I'm not just talking about mine.

I've said this all pre season and all I got was sh*t off clever clogs on here! And how I've lost all faith in Sheens and think it's time we moved on, why we call him the wizard I'll never know, clown would be more fitting, we need some size in this league and we are seriously lacking we look like a football team

Leigh are proving how great of a job TS and the club did last year. Certainly looks like a wizard to me compared to what is happening over there right now. However, I do agree we have failed to add elements to the squad that we need. I personally don't think its because TS / NH / JP didn't want to or didn't see the need.

Good afternoon StanTheMan6,

The Championship competition is a lot stronger this year with a very good London, Fev, Tolouse and Toronto teams. If KR was is it this year, i do think you would still win the comp however it would not be the walk in the park it was for you last season.

I think the fact he was binned off by his first club at 18 and 9 years later it's still happening says it all I seriously doubt he will change

I also disagree. I cannot see any way the championship is a lot stronger. London are performing well but their squad is the same or weaker than last year. Toulouse look to be improved but they didn't make the top four last year. Leigh are replacing ourselves. Toronto are obviously new and add to the depth in the league. I would say it is slightly stronger at best.

I'm sure Leigh were saying the same thing this time last year but I do not see anything to be worried about from the championship thus far. That may change if Toronto add a few more players but unless they do I do not see them challenging SL sides. Leigh still look strong on paper but have a hell of a job on to make the top 4. London we have already put to bed in friendly when we had a lot missing and they were at full strength.

I don't mean to take away from the championship as it is a very exciting league this year.

I am loathe to criticise TS due to his experience and vast knowledge of our game. In my opinion the thing we are lacking in Rovers play is speed and intensity, plus we have hardly had a settled side, we have missed the enthusiasm of Lawler and Donno, lost Addy, now Lunt. We look lethargic and seem to play with an attitude of well there's always next weeks game we can win.
