Im wildly guessing here because im not one of them and dont have a problem with it at all - and id go to watch him because i like going to the NL grounds aswell. But i wouldnt dream of going if he was at another SL club. (Id see him twice and afew times on SKY, that would be enough because i would cheer on another SL team)
I once saw a CCTV image of a crime scene in the paper and the guy in it was wearing a Rovers shirt, does that mean we're all criminals (Hull fans, that is a rhetorical question

)
When you watch SL on the telly, do you not favour one or the other teams? It's usually the Yorkshire team in our house, or anyone playing Wigan! Do you never go as a neutral to Wembley or the Grand Final, wearing your Rovers shirt? You wearing a Rovers shirt and supporting Leeds for example would suggest that all Rovers fans want Leeds to win, according to your way of thinking. It doesn't mean you are pledging an allegiance to that team, Rovers will always be your team.
I will admit that when Gareth Morton went to Oldham along with Byron Ford and later Matty Brookes, I went to watch him play many games that season and was made incredibly welcome by their fans (some of whom I am still in touch with), so much so that I became an honourary Oldham fan, and since them I have always had a soft spot for them, and guess what, I wore my Rovers shirt to their games too.
PS if you don't have a problem with it all, why did you raise the matter?
