similar story here - dislocated knee and torn ACL knee reconstruction required and missed an entire season. Got fit for the new season , played hooker so first set thought I'd scoot out of dummy half and get the first tackle on the leg out of the way - took the hit and came down on my thumb on the ball carrying arm - dislocated my bl***y thumb.
